Red and Green are colors often associated with the macabre so it's fitting they are used for this poster. While the original Alien poster used a lime key color with analogous harmony, this design opts for a blue/green key color with red and yellow/orange as the complementing colors. (Colors aside—this is a great poster design with great use of grunge textures and a throwback to the semi-illustrated style of the original 1979 film.)
